Title: Vents type TT100T ventilation fan
Post by mike4369 on May 12th, 2016, 5:15pm

Any one had experience wiring one of these? It has a timer and the wiring diagram shows Neutral to, perm live to L and switched live to LT, but there is an extra terminal (not marked) with a wire looped on itself. Looks like it could be a jumper wire but what does it do? I have included a pic to show.

Is this the one?

See diagram 15 page 6. The symbols are explained on page 2.

Looks like it's for an external switch.

Thanks for the reply. A diagram is attached to the control box lid showing the standard wiring layout, but it was just the extra terminal that intrigued me. Looking at all the other diagrams it shows configurations for Fast and Slow speed connections so maybe its part of that. As the spare terminal is wired into the control board circuitry it must do something. Anyway I'll wire it up as per supplier's recommendation, meanwhile I'll see what the manufacturer comes up with.

Manufacturer states that this model is a single speed type and the extra terminal is not to be used hence a loop wire is put in to prevent using the terminal.
