Title: Can't remove tv wall mount to paint Post by lolomoo on Apr 7th, 2018, 6:10pm Hi, I hope this is the right section for this question. I have just moved into a new home and am having an issue with a tv wall mount in the bedroom. The mount is on a concrete wall and I can not get it removed The screws are torque heads but no screwdriver seems to move them at all. I'd be grateful if anyone could advise what I can do to remove the mount as I want to be able to decorate and don't want a tv in the room. I don't mind if i need yup patch the wall a bit but would prefer not to put big holes in it! Thanks for your help. |

An impact driver with the correct bit may do it, or a small angle grinder to take the screw heads off, then cut the screws off below the walls surface at an angle. Give the screws a dab of paint to prevent it rusting through once filled. |

Title: Re: Can't remove tv wall mount to paint Post by MysticalGandy on Apr 18th, 2018, 2:56pm I had a similar problem, luckily i have a socket set from halfords which also contains loads of torx bits... a long handled socket lever to get enough leverage should work... |
