A bubble for a spirit level. ? Started a new job last week and was advised this is a tool that would always come in handy to have but can not find them anywhere.

Next weeks job is sash windows so will be looking for some long weights.

Bubbles for spirit level are difficult to find but I'm sure you will find a spare somewhere.
Long weights are also one of the 1st thing a chippie needs to find a good source of.
The following week you may find you need a left handed screwdriver & hammer.
2 handed hammers are usefull if the nails need the force of 2 men to drive them home & don't forget a 3 bladed screwdriver so you can fix  3 screws at a time. Wink

You might also need to paint the finished product using tartan paint.

When most houses front step was like red lead and regularly had 'carnation' red polish rubbed in a woman asked my grandmother how she got her step looking so clean & bright. Her answer was ''Elbow grease'' The women then asked her what shop she bought it from.

this thread seems familiar, was it not on the dreaded SFX a while ago...
however if you are asked for any of the above, maybe i can help!!!

a skirtting brd ladder..... budgie ladder!!
the long "wait".........a 2 foot x 1" dia sash(for narrow casements
sky hooks.............t.v/satalite installers use them, there is actually a bracket called a "sky" hook, made for the sky dish!!!
left handed screw drivers YOU CAN actually get!!!!(bought step son a set for crimbo last!!)
a glass hammer... you can buy the special shaped small copper headed hammer for putting in glazing tacks for the glass!!!!(the hammer actually slides on the glass, so has a very well polished head!!!
the list is fairly endless
and if you really want a laugh, then get a 45 gallon drum, put electritians in it, and you DO HAVE "THE BUCKET OF SPARK'S"

Don't do that Matt. They would take weeks talking about which regs applied to the situation. Grin
