I'm upset now RR, gonna get me shotgun and pepper yur posterior with lead  Cry Cry

I fit kitchens but I don't work for Nobem or Indirect Kitchens, I work for myself and do a fine job - can provide references if you like.  I even replace the stopcock if it's knackered so kind am I.  So I must be the odd one out in the kitchen fitter fraternity Cheesy Cheesy
... BUT I swear our lecturer, when I did a wee plumbing course, change a tap washer without isolating supply. May have been dreaming coz it was one of THE most boring courses I have ever done and fell asleep most of the time. ...
Wabbit - You could change tap washers 'live' on those old 70's Supa Taps!  Weird they were - the water would come wooshing out all over the place when you started to take them to bits. Just as you thought that you were doing something wrong Shocked, it would all stop and you could change the washer.  Then as it all went back together, it would gush out again for a while and then stop again when you turned the thing off!

You got the right idea Mate, get yerself down the Pub and forget it!
