I get -30% from mine on their catalogue prices. Mark the catalogue price up 40% to allow for the VAT and transport/shopping time and my margin, so it's still cheaper than most shed prices by the time it gets to the customer but I can make a profit too.
How do others work it out? [/quote]
Not too sure about that as a lot of the sheds sell junk products coz they are cheap and often cheaper than the proper materials available from electrical wholesales and after discount.
Little_Miss: Get a quote and ask them to show cost of parts, any reluctant to do so will almost certainly be ripping you off on parts. Then when ya have the quote ask here again and we can tell ya what we pay for them and if what you are being charged overall is reasonable.
On the other hand we'll all be round tonight to do the job
