Wish I had read this before starting. Well I left it for just over 2 hours as teh instructions said and frankly it was useless.
Old enclosure runners were so strongly held on I resorted to an angle grinder to cut the runners carefully into smaller sections and worked on each one at a time.
Probably should have taken PVMs original advice and used the Kango
Of course having got the old channel out with only very monor damage to teh glaze on teh tray, I found out why the channel was held on so tightly and possibly why it leaks. The shower tray edge is not level.
I don't mean it undulates a bit, I mean it has a peak the size of Everest about 2/3rds along one side.
As a result the new shower enclosure rocks. Think I should have bought shares in silicone sealant company before fitting.
Oh well it's in place now and once the sealant's dry, we'll see if it leaks.
