Amendments to BRegs

The dept of the envt has published a set of amendments and corrections to the building regulations technical guidance documents from 1997 - 2004.  This is a comprehensive list of all amendments and corrections which have already been made to the TGD's .  It is available from Government Publication free of charge  and will be incorporated in all new, full sets of TGD's purchased.

Technical Guidance Document C - Site Preparation and Resistance to Moisture has been revised to incorporate more comprehensive guidance on radon.  It is due to be published in the very near future.

Acknowledgements: 'Architectural Technology' a publication available from  the British Institute of Architectural Technologists (BIAT), Nov/Dec 2004.

If you have a geological topographical chart which you need to refer to before you start building, the revised version will show the most affected areas and additional areas which extend much further east than before.
