When I first started work in the early sixties, carpenters wore brown overalls, plumbers wore blue, and painters wore white.

I don't remember the last time I saw a plumber or chippy in overalls, what happened?

you talking about albanians, i can't say they were from there, but def east europe.

Wanted work, said can do everything and £30.00 per day.

But a lot of the big building projects going on around my area (flats appearing everywhere) not a single english person working on them.

Scary
