Its concrete! concrete is concrete whatever way you look at it. Am doing my own patio at the moment and have to pick up some beautifull Indian sandstone at around £25 per sq mtr next week. Why on earth would you want something that, as you state worryingly..."still" looks good after a year, there are so many excellent products to choose that personally concrete of any form would be my last choice.
