just had a load of plastering done and have started to emulsion over it, no problem except in a couple of places I can't seem to cover the skim bead, plasterer was no help, do I need to cover/coat it with something else first to improve adhesion ?
many thanks

You have probably sealed the plaster with a very thin coat of emulsion (hopefully,) so it should just be a case of using thicker paint on the bead, probably quite a few coats.
Mind you, you have probably done it by now.
