I have a tiled outdoor area which is covered with a roof (In Turkey) for the best part of the year there is no rain, however in Winter the rains can be quite heavy and with high winds the rain can blow in to the tiled area. The tiles slope slightly the wrong way but sufficient to allow the water to `pool`in a couple of areas.
On leaving the property at the end of October I put a line of silicone bead in a couple of areas to (hopefully) prevent the water running in to the areas that it normally pools in. (see pictures)
When I go back out next year I would like to try and do a more permanent fix but don`t want to lift and lay new tiles.
Anyone got any ideas of a fix for this that wont cost the earth?
The water tends to run towards the brown coloured shutters and also around the pillar.
