Removing Marley tile adhesive from concrete floor.

Anyone got ant tips for getting the black bitumen type adhesive (which originally stuck Marley tile down) off a concrete floor? Its been combed on about a 1/16th thick and I'm told this must be removed before the ceramic tile adhesive can be applied.

first try scrapping the black bitumen up with a scrapper, if soft enough.. if not soft enough, try a gentle warming with a hairdryer, to aid it in becoming soft.. , once its gone and just left a residue in/ on the concrete..

Mix pva with cement and sand till its a grey colour and creamy and use a roller to put it on the floor. The next day it should be sound to tile on after another coat of pva 5-1 to kill the suction, and away you go.
