I need a rad moving
Feb 8th, 2010, 9:27pm

Hi, I thought my post went through, but I can't see it. Apologies if I post this twice. I need a rad moving. I have an oil boiler. Can anyone give me a roundabout cost figure please? Many thanks, Kaz.

You need to provide more details:
What size rad,
How far it needs to be moved,
Are the pipes run on the surface or inside the wall,
Where about in the country are you,
Will it be a one visit job or is it working around other trades i.e. multiple visits.

There are a lot of factors involved, so it is not possible to give a fixed or even rough price. I could say £10k and it does not matter how far it needs to be moved, where you are in the country etc because I know I can't loose  Grin

I'd have said between £100 & £200 depending on whether or the the boiler was of the sealed combi type, or whether you have to drain down water tanks etc.
