Afternoon All,
I have a slight issue with our two year old Travertine floor.
We had an extension added to the house a couple of years ago, the wall was removed from our Kitchen into the new extention. The Travertine floor was laid through out the extention and the kitchen (part of the existing bungalow). At the threashold of the old and new rooms the floor tiles have cracked as the floor in the new part has settled (about a mm). I have tried to fill the crack with the grouting that the builder left, but becuase of the height change you can still see it clearly.
My question is can I sand the Travertine tiles so as to smooth out the height change and then fill and seal afterwards ?
Thanks.
