Oil-fired boiler - annual service or not?
Aug 16th, 2014, 2:16pm

Just wondering if I really need this as we only burned 500 litres since the last service.

If the advice is to go ahead, is there really any justification in them changing the nozzle as it was replaced last time.  I suspect that 'your nozzle needs replacing" is a way to screw more money out of this cynical so-and-so!

Most fuels will go thick over time, so the less you use it the more servicing it requires.
