hi all,

can anyone tell me if I need to remove the pump and condensate trap to replace the dhw heat exchanger, or is it possible to do without

Hi it may be possible to do it without if you have the right kit but normal would be to remove the pump and condensate trap.

On a side note, you should be getting an RGI to do this.

Intructions are in the manual, let me know if you don't have the manual

I like how the manual stated maybe lol!!

im a self employed spark by trade for over 30yrs work away a lot alongside a plumbing company, so we help each other out a lot as we both know each others work Wink.....unfortunately he's still away till end of month (sods law really)

wasa thinking on leaving it till then but got the bits so was going to do weekend

problem I got is the pressure is at just under 3bar the prv is keeping it at this as it is leaking, the pv has 1 bar in it so don't suspect this and when not calling for ch or hw pressure goes up unless I turn of the cw supply
