Sealing screed
Apr 20th, 2015, 9:27pm

I'm moving into  a house soon which won't have a floor down in the dining room just concrete screed. As per the other thread the lounge has wood floor. I want to keep the dust down as much possible , can I treat / seal the screed to keep the dust down?

The flooring eventually in the dining room will be more engineered flooring.

Cheers for any input.

The cheapest way to seal concrete is to use PVA which should stop it dusting.

thats what i thought didnt know if there was something more specific i see wickes sell something.  any how was there this afternoon and found the PVA the plasterer was using so watered it down and rolled it on the floor, on the bit that dried seemed to do the trick.
