Been toying with one of these for a while. Like the idea of a mist free mirror and actually being able to see while I shave (not that I do very often)
The one I've seen has a few led lights on it and a "low power" (no figure specified) heater, similar to that in car wing mirrors. Currently there is a crappy shaver light, which is on the lighting circuit.
Can you connect this sort of mirror to the lighting circuit? I downloaded the installation guide, and it doesn't say either way.
My other question is how do you connect it? There is currently a 1mm t&e that just enters the back of the shaver light and connects inside. The mirror has some flex coming out the back. I'm assuming this would need a strain relief where it connects? So would a fused flex outlet be acceptable? If I have measured correctly, the mirror is far enough away from the bath and high enough above the tap to be in zone 3.
Trying to get my head round what will need to be done before I ring the sparky
Thanks in advance for your help
