Imperial microbore
Nov 11th, 2015, 10:24pm

Today I got called out by a friend who was replacing a radiator and had got stuck part way through the job. Seems the existing pipe work is metric with the pipes to the rad 3/8" I assume. 10mm end feed are a bit of a lose fit but I had to use them and they do seem to have done a decent job as there were no leaks when we pressurised the system back up.

Do you think this will be okay long term or should I obtain some adapters and re-make the joints?

Thanks for any advice.

If they have soldered up ok with no leaks, there's no real reason to doubt their integrity. I've soldered up some right sloppy joints in the past and they have been fine.

Agreed, if they soldered up ok and was pressure tested they should be fine.
