Broken Touch Control Lamp
Mar 29th, 2016, 4:49pm

Hi, my daughter has a touch lamp, the bulb blew and now, with a new bulb, the lamp stays permanently on. Is it safe to fit a in-line rocker switch to the flex and use as a ordinary bed side lamp or do I need to by pass the touch control device in the base of the lamp.
              Thanks for any replies,
                  Mikee. Roll Eyes

I think it safer to bypass the electronics.

Thanks for that Lectrician, apparently there are replacement electronic units being sold on ebay but don't think I would trust them.
