BT Versatility Voicemail - yet more!
Jun 23rd, 2016, 2:10pm

Hi, recently installed a s/h Versatility system in my office. One isdn line set p-mp, two V8 extensions and a voicemail module. Everything works fine except I cannot get the voicemail to work on incoming calls. When I follow the programming as per the book, when it comes to nominating lines, it only offers me Access 1. Should I be seeing lines there? Forgive my ignorance, but I have limited Telecom skills. Any suggestions warmly welcomed.

With ISDN, you program the accesses, not lines.  Access 1 would be your first ISDN line, so both line 1 and 2.

You only need to program this for auto attendant though, voicemail works on a per extension basis, or per ring group basis, not per line.

Not used the vers for sometime now, but make sure your manual relates to your version.  There were a couple large variations in versions.
