Hi,
I've got rising damp on 3 walls and I've had two wildly different quotes to fix it. One for £1k suggests removing the damp plaster, treating with salt neutraliser, injecting a capillary action dpc and re-plastering. The other (2k) the other suggests a Dryzone DPM at the floor and a 2016 Drybase flex membrane. It worries me that the second method doesn't include taking the current damp plaster off.
Is this the sort of thing anyone can help with please? Would really appreciate it- the internet is full of horror stories of people being ripped off!
