Terrain soil and boss
Oct 6th, 2016, 6:35pm

Hello people  Smiley

I need a boss for a terrain soil pipe, i bought a solvent in one from drakes and it does not fit, no one around here stocks terrain or anything they think will fit, does any one know if a rubber type one will fit? internal dimensions of hole is about 50mm.

Any input much appreciated.

Terrain is more or less a standard size so more info please.

Do you have the pipe and trying to find a boss for it or?

Is the pipe solvent weld or pushfit (perhaps a pic of the pipe)

Plumbcenter stock Terrain and their own brand is the same size.

BSS, also stock Terrain.

Can you post the outside measurement

Thanks

The soil is existing and im trying to connect into it, where there is a branch (toilet other side of wall, and the round entry thing is pointing right where i need it to be.

The 40mm waste pipe i have is solvent weld

I was told try drakes and plumbcentre, drakes solvent in boss no where near fits, rang plumbcentre and they said they dont stock it and what they have wont fit.

Tried john davidson pipes aswel and they didnt have it or anyhitng to fit.

inside measurement is about 50mm i will try to squeeze myself in there for a OD measurement.

If Marley fits it ain't Terrain as marley is much smaller.

Polypipe is the same as Terrain, think they are now the same company.

that could explain alot , the plumber told me it was terrain by access is ridiculously tight and it was a bit dark so probably a easy mistake to make, anyway it all got put in later that day and the temporary home for the washing machine and dishwasher is up and running.
