Kitchen tiling

Was planning on tiling then putting units in but this is throwing up some problems.

Are there any disadvantages to units in first and then tiling?

May have to cut notches in tiles depending on what the bottom edges of the wall units look like?

We always fit units first then tile, don't know anyone that does it the other way round.
