Hi,
Whilst stripping the wallpaper in my bedroom, I've come across areas where the top coat of plaster has blown from the layer below. Roughly 20% is affected. It's too bad to leave in-situ and will need to be broken out. Is it feasible to just take out just the bad areas and leave the sound plaster alone, ie would a plasterer be able to blend in the old with the new?
If it makes a difference the layer below looks more like render or screed rather than bonding plaster but I'm no expert.
Thanks
