Title: Bricklayers
Post by cupid on May 4th, 2004, 9:38pm

The brickies start tomorrow :) (weather permitted :-/) on my extention,do they when laying bricks, tie into excisting brickwork:

1,chop out every ?? course?
2,use furfix or simular?
3,other?

Any preferance on any above, good/bad? :-/

Has rabbit_rabbit nicked my r again  ;D

Details should be on drawing submitted to planning office.

If the extention is a straight continuation of the existing building then I would expect the bricks to be toothed out to continue the course.

If the wall is butting up against the existing then Furfix or toothed, again depending on what happens inside.
