Title: Danish Oil removal Post by valerie on Dec 8th, 2011, 12:52pm I have recently had some oak veneered interior doors fitted. On the advice of the carpenter I treated them with Danish Oil. However, the colour is now darker than I would wish. Is there any way I can return them to their original colour? |
Title: Re: Danish Oil removal Post by TIMBA-WOLF on Dec 9th, 2011, 10:15pm Depends on the depth of the veneer, and the doors make up (whats below the veneer!) |
Title: Re: Danish Oil removal Post by londonman on Dec 9th, 2011, 10:45pm What is it with these people and bloody Danish Oil. Hate the bloody stuff. Sorry but your carpenter is a plonker to suggest that. As TW says..it depends on how deep the veneer is but I fear that you are stuck with the current end result. Beeswax.. |
