Can anyone please tell me how to disable my Abacus 8R alarm so I can move the box. Every time I turn the power off or pull the power fuse in the box the external alarm goes off. Thanks

The external alarm bell box has it's own battery in it. As soon as it looses its 12v "hold off" supply, it will sound.

You need to disconnect the battery in the bell box.

Texecom bell boxes have a hold off function - You pulse the strobe output 3 times and it will invoke the hold off feature, allowing you to then power down.
