Title: Is this normal on new pebbledashing? Post by tex on Jun 2nd, 2019, 4:45pm I'm concerned about the pebble dash on a recently built house that I'm looking to purchase. After a couple of hours of rain the surface develops damp patches as if the water is soaking in. The pebbledashing was done about 5 months ago. Has anybody seen this happen before? Is it going to cause problems with the rendering if left or do I need to treat it with something like Thompsons Waterseal? [gallery]texx/1559471898.jpg[/gallery] |

Title: Re: Is this normal on new pebbledashing? Post by thescruff on Jun 6th, 2019, 9:59am To Me, it looks like the problem is connected to the patio slabs above, whatever you seal the render with is going to stain unless you can stop the water running down the wall like a waterfall |
