I know it's hard to be specific but can anyone give me some idea how much more expensive it is to have external wall insulation than to have traditional rendering? All other things being equal, like removal of old render, cost of scaffolding to do it, it there any formula I can use to work this out. Like maybe it would 'x' times more expensive per sq metre?

Don't think it's that easy. The more area you are insulating the cheaper the materials will get per square foot. Theres also the saving on heating (and possibly cooling, if you have a/c) that would need factoring in to give a true cost.

Easiest way probably just to get a few quotes
