Aren't wives sweet?
I still have the Wolf drill my wife bought me for our 1st Christmas soon after our wedding. It has a 5/16" chuck. What luxury when all others were 1/4" in those days.
It still gets used sometimes but the bearings are worn making it noisy and a bit warm if used for too long but I wouldn't be without it.

NOW I know why she wasn't happy that Christmas.
I bought her a set of screwdrivers thinking she might find a use for them with all the work needed around the house. Roll Eyes
