For info, Supra, Fluke also now do a model 1651, which they are calling a Part P tester (cabbages!). It's priced at around £500-plus-you-know-what and should do all you need for 7671 tests.

The 1651 is the same as the 1652 except it doesn't have the RCD tester or probe.  The 1652 I can get for £554 + vat, the 1651 lists at £499 + vat.

I reckon for the extra £55 I'll get the 1652.

However, it's still £500+ I'd rather spend on something else  Cry

Don't forget to get it calibrated - They don't ship 'em pre-calibrated unless you pay for it at about £60 + dreaded.

Well I didn't know that!  What's the point of selling you an uncalibrated test tool!!

Another £60 gone..................................   Angry

Well obviously

It's unlikely these instruments go out of calibration that much, however who knows for sure, and of course depends what treatment they get or if there analouge meters.
