At presant i AM using mains water but due to low water pressure Angry if anyone uses downstairs appliances and you are in shower, firstly you get scolded then you freeze Sad not nice when you have got your dangly bits all lathered up Tongue Tongue  Wink

You have approx 1/2 bar of pressure from your cistern so this will be less than your mains supply Sad
You may be better purchasing a shower with an integral pump which may involve upgrading your electric supply cable.
My thoughts are that you should look into why your mains pressure is so poor.
Could be that stoptap is knackered, seized half on, incorrectly fitted with arrow pointed the wrong way, boundary stoptap not fully on, shared main.
Might be worth asking water supplier to test supply, you never know they may fit you a new supply for free Grin

And yes you can fit a pump, provided its supplied via a storage tank, about 60/70 gallons should do the trick.

We have exactly the same problem with our electric shower on the top floor of our 3 storey guest house (not scolding just no water when someone else flushes toilet/runs tap/dishwasher/wasing machine is used). On page 327 of current screwfix catalogue is a redring expressions 570 pumped electric shower (item no. 45637-76) which seems to be the answer to yours and mine problem. Is it really the biz? Has anyone any feedback on this particular shower. What size tank would be needed to ensure the tank doesn't run out of water bearing in mind other water users at the same time?
