Salamander 1.5bar pump
Nov 17th, 2004, 9:57pm

I recently installed a salamnder 1.5bar pump.
I used a warix fitting on the tank.
The problem i've got is that it sounds like it has air in the pump( a kind of whoosing noise! ) and when the hot tap is turned on and off quicklyanywhere else in the house the pump runs momentarily.
Any ideas?? I've tried bleeding the pump on numerous occasions but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

could be lots of things including the warex flange.

Pump has a pressure switch which will switch the pump on whenever the pressure goes down, the reason you shouldn't connect a pump to a wc, it will keep shunting on and off.

do a drawing and email it to me , and i can have a look while on me holidays.
