Im going to be mounting an LCD TV on the wall of our bedroom however, the wall in question is just a stud partition. I want to make the TV look as tidy as possible by getting the cables to come out from behind the wall behind the tv. Whats the easiest way to get the cables "into" the wall cavity?

I was thinking of drilling a hole in the wall behind where the tv will be mounted and trying to feed it down to floor level. Obviously I can remove the skirting to get access to it at this level.

Or have I jus answered my own question?   :-D

Just remember that power cables must run vertically or horizontally from the socket,  No restrictions on aerial cables.

No LOFT?

Seems more sensible to drill a hole through the stud wall top plate from loft (stick a bradawl up tight to the wall, and then measure about 2 inch in to find the centre of the wall, assuming a 4 inch thich wall).

You should be able to provide a socket in the loft for the TV, and an aerial point.

No other TV kit?  Just the TV?  This is how mine is done, with a sky magic eye also.

You should be able to neatly cut a small section of plasterboard away with a sharp knife and a padsaw.  You only need to be as wide as the cables laid adjacent to each other, and about a cm above and below the noggin.  Make the hole behind the TV first, drop a string in with a weight to see how far you can drop, and then mark this on the outside of the wall to show where the noggin is.

If your walls are insulated, use some MMT0 or 1 trunking lid in the wall to fish with.
