That system's unknown to me. I haven't the remotest idea how you'd fit that particular type of lock to that design of door.
Retro fitting security to upvc stuff is problematic at the best of times because of the thin section, and even worse now that reinforcing is no longer a standard spec (which gave you something to screw into).
You need someone familiar with that upvc system who'll know where you can fix to.
This sort of thing demonstrates the total ignorance of the insurance companies regarding the laughable "security" of patio doors (or French windows, come to that) because you can break into the things regardless of how many locks you have fitted, unless glazed with laminated units, without making hardly a sound. Toughened glass shatters into thousands of tiny pieces that hit the ground with no more sound than slush sliding off a roof. All you need is a little "fire escape" hammer and it's job done. But at least the security locks will still be in place. Bit like a chocolate fireguard for all the benefit they bring.
