Tiles lifting

Hello
Have a tiled floor in the downstairs extension of a customers house where the tiles are rising in a line down the length of the extension. It seems as if the floor is being squeeze as i was there last night and you could hear the tiles lifting with a loud cracking sound. The extension is about twenty years old with concrete screed and continues through into the existing rear room of the house where the tiles seem okay. The screed underneath feels dry and there does not seem to be any leaks in the ch system. There are no cracks to any of the walls or ceilings to indicate any movement. They turned the central heating on for the first time this autumn the night before. Have not seen anything like it before so any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks
Hannay

If you look at the back of one of the tiles, is there any bond or is it all on the floor?
