Problem with glass patio door - too much light
Jan 20th, 2011, 7:56am

Recently had my living room turned into a movie theater and I’m having trouble with the light coming through my large patio door. So I am looking for a cheap solution for covering this glass door while still maintaining an easy access to the patio – my dogs favorite place. So I’m thinking about vertical blinds just like these ones http://www.blindsuk.net/vertical-blinds.html – for their modern look and easy operation, but my friends are telling me to for heavy curtains – bit afraid about how they will hold up with the dogs around. Any recommendations on what would better do the trick, especially from dog owners?

I doubt if vertical blinds would cut out enough light i have them in my study and sometimes the reflection is caught on my pc monitor.
Curtains would be best I reckon but possibly `black out` blinds, roller type.
