Glossing Radiators.

I'm glossing a few central heating radiators for my daughter and would like to know how long should it be before she can use the radiators after. When I do my own I normally leave them turned off for a few days but don't know if I really need to.
Thanks, Mikee.

If you are using radiator paint, it will tell you on the tin.
If you are using ordinary gloss paint, don't.

Forgot to say, they already have a coat of ordinary gloss on them. Don't think there is much point in using Radiator paint.

Ordinary gloss tends to go yellow.

Thanks for your replies, but I'm more bothered about her using the rads too soon after I've painted them. Don't know if the paint will crack and peel or whatever.

Look at the drying time on the tin, if 16 to 24 hours, leave for 24. When you turn the heating back on, don't be surprised if you get a strong smell of paint.
