I understand that when laying chipboard flooring, it is necessary to leave a 10mm gap at the edges for expansion. My problem is that I am flooring over an exercise pool (not used and emptied), so that the chipboard flooring edges are not near the skirting board. How do I leave an expansion gap without leaving a 10mm gap in the middle of the floor? Or, is their a better way to do this? If I didn't explain this very well, I could post a photograph when I work out how to do that.
