wiring 3.3kw oven (Read 13595 times)

davygravy GDPR opt-out	wiring 3.3kw oven Feb 21^st, 2014, 7:47pm Any help please,I have purchased a 3.3kw oven,now I know this will have to be hardwired to supply.I know I have a 45A feed from the consumer unit to cooker socket,would this be ok to feed from the socket to a cooker outlet then to the oven,or would 45a be to powerful for the oven,any advice,thanks

What make is your fuseboard? Photo? Assume no lecky hob?

Better too big than too small. The MCB does need changing though. Hagars are readily available.
