wiring 3.3kw oven

Any help please,I have purchased a 3.3kw oven,now I know this will have to be hardwired to supply.I know I have a 45A feed from the consumer unit to cooker socket,would this be ok to feed from the socket to a cooker outlet then to the oven,or would 45a be to powerful for the oven,any advice,thanks

Do as you suggest, but swap the MCB for a 16 amp one.

What make is your fuseboard?  Photo?

Assume no lecky hob?

10mm is nicely oversized.  Better too big than too small.

The MCB does need changing though.  Hagars are readily available.

6mm t&e will be ok from outlet to oven though won't it?

2.5mm would be ample, HO7rnf preferred.

4mm would be my choice here.

I would probably go with 2.5mm HO7 flex as some of the terminal enclosures arent designed for anything bigger and many ovens of that size will come with a 1.5mm flex
