Juco, you have complicated the wiring as you only have two wires in, live and neutral and the lamp will only need two wires the switched live and neutral.

But Lec, I was wondering if all PIRs can be wired in parallel? In the old days when they had relays you could wire as many in parallel as you wanted but now they may be electronic can you just wire them up like that?

Yes, but only upto the maximum switching capacity of a single PIR.

I'd be more worried about the third wire A shown at the lamp and at the node marked Mains....surely that is the earth ?  I had one of those (useless) LED floodlights and it only had three wires L N and E

Some PIRs need a permanent live to work the timer.

I would imagine that you should have L, L/SW & N.

Depending upon the Class of PIR, you should also include a cpc, even if you just park it in a connector. That way, the 'line conductor must always be accompanied by a cpc' rule is also observed.

Personally, I'd treat the PIRs as 2 way switches and connect them together that way.

My guess is that the terminal marked 'A' stands for 'Activate' and is thus the switched live output to the lamp.
