Changing downlights to LED
Jan 10th, 2016, 1:36pm

Hi,

Hope someone can help

I am changing my halogen ceiling downlights to LED. The size of the hole is 72mm but most LED downlights seem to say the cut out hole should be 56mm diameter. The diameter of the light (external part) is 86mm. Can i use these or do I have to use a downlight with a 72mm cut out.

Thanks for help.

Tom

72-74 is the standard cutout.

I would highly recommend looking at JCC LED6 and LED10 downlights.

They would fit your hole, and comparable in brightness and come with a manufacturers 10 year warranty!

They are the defacto!
