Mains LED Lighting.

Hi, I have purchased a set of 6 x 7watt 240v LED downlighters. They have individual led drivers attached and have red and black wiring between the driver and the lamp but on the input side there are two brown wires. My question is, does this mean that there is no specific input polarity? Secondly, should I wire them in series or in parallel?
Many thanks.

They would be parallel.
If both brown, it suggest the polarity is not important.
However.
If they are both single insulated browns, and not in an outer sleeve, it suggests a cheap import - We have DOUBLE insulation on our cables.

Thank you Lecky, You are right that they are cheap imports and to be honest, I was a bit wary, but they do have the CE mark and are RoHS rated so I'm feeling fairly confident.
Once again, thanks for the reply.

CE not to be confused with CE..
