Damp patch
Nov 6th, 2016, 2:08pm

Strange damp patch on adjoining house interior wall to right side of chimney breast. water ingress through chimney and pots has been rectified resulting in chimney breast drying out. old boxed plaster removed from adjoining walls to breast, re-render and plaster walls. however patch approx. 1mtr from ground level and 1.5mtrs in length x 30cm wide across that section of wall remains wet looking and damp to touch. previously the area had salting and crumbling damp plaster. Any ideas or solutions would be appreciated. many thanks.
