Hi, I can imagine other people have asked questions about this before but couldn't find anything in previous posts.

I have a Dorlonco construction home and am wanting to knock the wall down between the kitchen and the dining room. To those that don't know, it's a steel framed house. I just wanted to see if anyone could advise me on whether I will need to put in extra steel beams or if won't need to. I have been unable to find much information on Google - or anywhere that knows anything.

Anyone that will be able to open a dialogue with me regarding what can be done with my house would be really appreciated!

I think you will need someone like an SE with local knowledge as I think construction varied. You will need to figure out if the floor joists are supported on this wall. If then some sort of beam is likely to be required.
