Hi, I moved into a new build house, where I got the builder to install a whirlpool bath. their is a junction box attached to the wall under the bath and pump with the wire from the pump going directly into this and then an electrical wire comes out of the box and into a switch outside the bathroom, in a cupboard, The switch is then connected to an RCD in the fuse box. Is this the correct wiring for this or should the wire from the pump have been wired directly into the switch in the cupboard? I would have thought that No junction boxes would have been allowed in a bathroom, especially directly below the bath where water can and has fallen onto it. This doesn't look like a correct rated box for any water.
I have attached a picture.
