Help with boiler selection
Sep 7th, 2017, 6:59am

I currently have a Gloworm Ultrapower SXI 170 boiler which was installed in 2009 and has had regular breakdowns ever since, covered by insurance. I am fed up with it now and am going to replace it and would be grateful for any recommendations . It's a big beastie it runs a 4 bed 3 bath
House and my underfloor heating .Thanks in advance

Seems all that type on boiler/store is unreliable.

Depends on what space you have but 100% Intergas boilers for reliability, then perhaps add an unvented cylinder for the extra storage.

Thanks, when we built the house I had planned a separate cylinder but my plumber talked me out of it due to advances in this type if boiler but as I say it is troublesome. Think I will get someone round and look at a better solution I've got a cupboard directly above the boiler i could utilise . But where will, our lass put the towels  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
