Our ridge tiles differ from the rest ?
Mar 6th, 2018, 5:28pm

Hi,

Our ridge tiles differ from the rest of the Cul De Sac. Of the 20 houses, ours and one other are are all vented, whilst the rest are all flat. See attached pictures.

It's almost as though all vented ridge tiles meant for other houes were placed on just two houses.

Thoughts on a postcard please?

Cheers
PS how do you add picture?

As you look at each section of the forum the top post tells you how to post pictures.

As for the tiles, without seeing them, i can't imagine it will do you any harm having too many ventilation tiles.

Has your house had a loft conversion?

If insulation is moved from joist level to rafter level then it's sometimes necessary to change the way the roof is ventilated by adding vents at the ridge.
