Underfloor heating vibrating
May 17th, 2021, 8:56am

Hi there , looking for some help with underfloor heating . I have just moved into my new house and the underfloor heating is constantly knocking . Only happens on one zone , when that zone is off it’s all fine . Any suggestions on what to do ? I have listened to the 6 pipes and it’s impossible to tell which one it is that’s knocking .

Almost certainly the zone valve, how old is the system?

A possible alternative could be a thermostatic valve connected the wrong way round.

As much information as possible please, ideally with some pics showing the manifolds and zone valves
